This is my first website I’ve owned and managed that deals with commodities at all. My other websites are from a financial perspective and explain how to make money, do basic accounting, keep a budget, save money, invest in stocks, etc.
But after starting this site in December of 2009, I’ve come to realize that I just love writing and thinking about commodities in general. Gold, silver, coal, copper — it’s all fun, fairly secure, and extremely profitable.
But I don’t want to get distracted on this website and write about mining stocks constantly. So, I’ve launched a mining news website called Learn Mining News. It has information on how to invest in mining stocks, facts about gold mining stocks, coal mining stocks, and even dividend mining stocks — just to graze the surface.
In the future, I’ll be adding more guides about every type of natural resource that has to be pulled out of the ground, including investing in oil, precious metals, a little bit about gold, natural gas, and dozens of others.
We’ll also be adding a job board fairly soon, which will allow anyone who’s looking for a job in a mine or a mining company to be able to check out the job listings. Searching for jobs is going to be free, of course, because that’s the least we can do with unemployment so high around the world.
Don’t worry about this website. We’ll still talk about investing in gold bullion, silver, and pretty much everything the way we usually do. The only difference is that after this month, I’ll be focusing less on gold mining stocks on this website, and just more on the different types of gold coins. This way you can pick which website you want to frequent, depending on the type of investment you’re looking for.
